CASINO HOST

About the role

Primarily responsible for the administration of Casino Marketing. Assist the Slot Marketing Manager in the operation of the Casino Marketing department. Exercise discretion and independent judgment within the Casino Host functions. Work independently on player development. Devote the majority of time in the casino providing personalized service to guests.

• Identify and develop personal relationships with new and first-time guests.
• Communicate constantly with Casino Game operations and other Casino Marketing team members.
• Contact guests personally and/or send correspondence to invite them to enjoy amenities and/or special events.
• Issue complementaries based on player ratings.
• Host outside entertainment for guests, such as professional sporting events, dinners, and theaters.
• Promote casino marketing programs via telemarketing.
• Follow all safety rules and adhere to departmental quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with the Gaming Board Rules, Standards, and the company's System of Internal Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Work within the guidelines established by the company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
• Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Pay

Starting salary: $47,000.00 to $47,500.00 annual.
