Casino EVS Supervisor

Start Rate: $19.00 per hour (shift differential available; will discuss in interview). Full-time position.

About the Role

You will assist the Shift Manager in managing all activities of the Environmental Services department. This includes working with employees by engaging in cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility, overseeing, training, and managing assigned area(s). You will report to the EVS Shift Manager.

Must be willing to complete a Mentorship program.

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide Environmental Services staff.
• Issue cleaning supplies to associates.
• Track inventory and supply stock to ensure appropriate levels; notify management when orders are needed.
• Manage inventory and security of supplies.
• Train, schedule, audit, and inspect the work of team members to ensure standards are met.
• Review invoices to verify accurate items for inventory received.
• Implement corrective/preventative actions and coach associates based on Standard Operating Procedures; complete documentation and communicate with Shift Manager and EVS Manager if further action is needed.
• Respond to and resolve emergency facility needs, safety, security, and regulatory issues.
• Address and resolve concerns from customers, associates, and management.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Strong background in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as they relate to MSDS.
• Understanding of government public health and/or safety regulations and requirements.
• Prior Environmental Services, Housekeeping, and Maintenance experience preferred.
