Casino Cleaning Attendant

About the role

Located in Terre Haute, IN (47803) at Terre Haute Casino Resort, which offers 1,000 slot machines, 35 table games, a 122‑room luxury hotel with pool, and 5 restaurants and 6 bars. The Casino Cleaning Attendant is a full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Clean gaming machines & gaming rooms, rest rooms, lobby, entrance way, dining rooms & bars.
• Wipe down machines, sweep, mop, and handle trash disposal.
• Ensure vacant, non‑fixed slot seating is tucked close to the slot machine and keep aisle ways clear while walking through aisles.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Work environment includes high noise levels, exposure to smoke on the casino floor, and a fast‑paced, demanding atmosphere.
• Physical demands: ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently and more than 50 lbs with assistance; must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.

Skills

• One year of housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form.
