About the role
As a Casino Barback at River City Casino & Hotel, you’ll provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service while supporting bartender needs and maintaining bar operations.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
- Set up bars for operation; cut fruit; stock ice; empty garbage.
- Support bartender needs; ice drink glasses and pour non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
- Wipe counter areas, sinks, and floors to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
- Maintain cleanliness of designated areas in accordance with established health and safety standards.
- Maintain par stock levels and order bar supplies as necessary; deliver orders.
- Maintain equipment in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures; report maintenance problems to manager.
- Remove and properly dispose of refuse and debris; sort bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
- Resolve service issues according to established guidelines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Familiarity and product knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification (ServSafe Alcohol).
- Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Pay
$9.00 per hour plus tips (average $100–$200 per shift).
Schedule
10:45 am – 7:15 pm (tip averages are based per shift).
