About the Role

As a Casino Barback, you will provide fast, friendly, and professional service to casino guests, beverage servers, and bartenders. You’ll act as an ambassador of goodwill, promote casino events, and resolve service problems while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Promote casino events and programs while providing personalized service.
• Maintain par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar.
• Stock liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, silverware, paper supplies, and sundries in designated areas.
• Replace empty draught beer kegs, slice and pit fruit, and fill ice bins.
• Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils according to safety procedures.
• Remove and dispose of debris, and clean counter areas, sinks, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with beverage servers, bartenders, and supervisors.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Able to work in constricting areas and tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded or noisy environments.
• Physically mobile with the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and balancing.

Pay

Base pay: $8.15 per hour + tips (average $100 per shift). Starting salary up to $20.00 per hour.
