About the role
The Bank Machine Supervisor safeguards all cash assets. They oversee the team to ensure the accurate and efficient handling of large volumes of cash, including counting, sorting, bundling, and identifying counterfeit currency. They drop, count, and balance AJMs (Jackpot Stations), kiosks, and cash dispensers while ensuring secure transportation of money and following strict security protocols. They ensure a smooth transition from the Casino Floor to the count room. The role reports to the Cage Vault Director.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the team, including resolving associate performance issues, conducting performance management (reviews, addressing sub-standard performance), promoting teamwork and inclusiveness, training, and auditing/inspecting the work of team members to ensure standards are met.
- Resolve customer issues, answer public inquiries, and immediately resolve customer/associate/management concerns.
- Communicate with Managers or Shift Managers concerning any problems, issues, or positive actions.
- Prepare reports related to auditing casino paperwork and keep accurate records of monetary exchange, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
- Handle large volumes of cash while counting, sorting, bundling, identifying counterfeit, balancing monies, and recording/analyzing data.
- Complete all required department paperwork with accuracy while observing all related procedures, including Title 31 regulatory requirements, MICS/TIC, standard operating procedures, internal processes, and policies to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Ten-Key proficiency (by touch).
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) or similar spreadsheet programs.
- Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
- Experience in handling large volumes of cash and working with large sums of money.
- Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Two (2) years of cash handling experience with prior management experience.
