Casing Crew Tech

This job is located at Willow Creek mine.

Responsibilities

• Deliver casing, screen, centralizers, cement tubs, cement heads, cementers, and sand to rigs as needed to case and complete wells for uranium production and monitoring.
• Assist the Lead Casing Technician with the cementing of wells and topping off wells with cement as needed.
• Track and record the amount of casing, screen, centralizers, etc. used by each rig on each well.
• Assist the Drilling Supervisor with inventory maintenance and notify the drilling supervisor when materials are needed.
• Offload materials delivered to the project site.
• Learn to run MIT (mechanical integrity test) and geophysical logging units.
• Perform regular maintenance of all equipment to keep it running in proper working order.
• Adhere to safety, environmental regulations, and company standards.
• Recognize hazardous conditions and follow company safety policies and practices; engage in a strong safety culture.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must submit to mandatory drug and alcohol testing prior to employment.
• Minimum of high school education with 0–5 years’ experience in construction or energy-related field.
• Able to work outside in varying weather conditions and lift over 50 pounds.
