Cashier | Part-Time | Worcester Red Sox (Polar Park)

Responsibilities

• Cashier the role includes operating the cash register by entering orders and completing sales.
• Maintain proper stock and supply levels and notify the Concessions Stand Manager of any shortages.
• Serve as a key point of contact for guests, addressing questions, requests, and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including dish cleaning and waste disposal.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic drinks, while adhering to all state and federal regulations by verifying guest identification.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry is preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
• The ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests are required.
• Maintaining excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy is required.

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.
