Cashier / Host / Attendant

This position is with an independent franchisee of Golden Corral, not Golden Corral Corporation. All hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

About the Role

The Cashier / Host plays a key role in shaping guests' first and last impressions of Golden Corral. Your interactions will directly influence whether guests return.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter and offer a sincere, personal invitation to return as they leave.
• Assist guests with any needs, including processing Golden Corral On the Go To-Go orders.
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor on the phone and in person.
• Handle payments accurately and balance the cash drawer with daily paperwork.
• Know and follow position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery.
• Stay informed about daily buffet offerings, menu items, and prices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas.
• Assist in ensuring the buffet is set up properly, labels are correct, and all areas are clean.
• Follow local health department laws and perform duty roster tasks to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
• Inform the Manager when cash in the drawer needs to be secured in the safe to reduce robbery risk.
