Cashier/Grill Attendant - Michael Patrick's

About the role

We are searching for a friendly and professional cashier to join our fast-paced team. As the first point of contact, you will greet and assist customers at Michael Patrick’s, delivering outstanding customer service as your main objective.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests.
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items.
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions.
• Enter guest orders accurately into the point-of-sale system.
• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receipts.
• Handle cash payments, comps, and credit card payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment:
  • Clean and maintain guest areas including dining room, counters.
  • Stock paper goods, condiments, silverware, and beverages.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Accurately complete, package, and present guest orders.
• Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces.
• Help kitchen staff when needed.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Six months’ experience in Dining Room operations is beneficial.
• Able to obtain state gaming licenses and Alcohol Beverage Control Card (where required).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously.
• Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead.
• Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
• Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing.
• Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environment.
• Work in an environment with hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens.

Pay

USD $10.00 per hour (tipped position).
