About the role
GardaWorld Cash Logistics, one of the nation’s largest armored car companies, is seeking a Cash Vault Services Analyst to balance and reconcile accounts daily, investigate and follow up on open or exception items, and provide daily status updates. The role involves participating in verifications of discrepancies, assisting in audits, resolving customer issues, and updating tracking logs for management and corporate security.
Responsibilities
- Provide productivity reporting for management indicating adherence to quality and performance targets by employee and function.
- Support research and adjustments to ensure customer information requests are fulfilled on a timely basis and in the proper format.
- Supervise data and materials retention, including oversight of locally retained materials and proper disposal of materials.
- Provide scheduling and staffing support to management, including monitoring staff hours, schedule management, and projected financial impacts.
- Offer administrative support, including management of equipment inventory, maintenance activities, custodial duties, and building safety.
- Coordinate and ensure timely completion of end-of-day (EOD) and other performance reporting, including daily balancing status and out-of-balance conditions.
- Provide specific training for new tellers and staff, including ensuring proper security and systems access.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (4-year BA/BS preferred).
- Excellent written, verbal, reading comprehension, and mathematics skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, repetitive process, and secure production environment.
- 3+ years of experience in analytical functions supporting senior management with complex data and financial information (highly recommended).
- Proficiency in MS Office; MS Visio and MS Project skills (highly recommended).
- 10-key speed and accuracy.
Physical Demands
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; may lift additional weight with assistance.
- Push, pull, and maneuver containers or wheeled currency carts weighing up to 150 pounds.
- Reach into a tanker or box with approximately three-foot sides to retrieve items.
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Normal hearing (with or without a device) to safely operate money processing machines.
- Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, handling, or feeling objects, including data entry devices.
- Ability to perceive attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touch.
Qualifications
This role is full-time with a starting pay rate of $20 per hour, beginning at 9:00 AM until close.
