Cash Manager
About the role
Dovenmuehle is a leading mortgage subservicing firm with clients nationwide. This role provides leadership and operational responsibility for the department.
Responsibilities
Partner with senior management to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate departmental goals, budgets, and initiatives.
Monitor trends and departmental performance to adjust staffing and resources.
Develop and enforce measurements and controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage and approve timely, accurate responses to audits, compliance reviews, and other requests.
Implement policies and procedures to promote service excellence and a positive work environment.
Recruit, select, and manage departmental staff, including providing guidance on regulatory compliance and professional development.
Prepare and submit departmental reports and communicate performance status.
Represent the department at internal and external meetings and projects.
Manage employee performance, provide coaching, and coordinate corrective action.
Manage time-off approvals and annual performance reviews.
Complete annual regulatory compliance training.
Resolve cashiering issues and ensure timely and accurate operations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and the public.
Monitor and stay current in mortgage servicing matters and organizational policies.
Requirements
5-7 years of experience in mortgage servicing, Cashiering, financial services, or similar industry.
3-5 years of management experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of mortgage compliance and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
The ability to motivate others and serve as a role model for organizational and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in mortgage servicing, Cashiering, financial services, or similar industry.
3-5 years of management experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of mortgage compliance and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
