Cash Applications Analyst

About the role

The Cash Applications Analyst will join Apple's Americas Order-to-Cash team, which operates globally across various locations. This role focuses on finance operations, automation, and data reporting, aiming to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational discipline and curiosity about automation and data. This position is integral to supporting Apple's financial strategies and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role across finance operations, automation, and data reporting.
• Drive process improvement and contribute to the future state operating model.
• Work effectively across time zones and cultures to align cross-regional teams.
• Transform data into actionable insights to drive process improvements and automation.
• Own work end-to-end and deliver consistently.

Requirements

• Current experience in the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance operations or a related field within a large-scale, multinational organization.
• Strong communicator with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements across finance and technical teams.
• Experience in Cash Applications, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash operations within a high-volume, global environment.
• Proficiency using Tableau, Dataiku, and approved AI platforms to build dashboards and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of financial controls, reconciliation, period-end close, and GAAP and SOX compliance.
