Case Reviewer/Medical Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an attorney and/or nursing professional, preferably with an advanced degree, to join our dynamic case evaluation team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of prospective clients and potential medical malpractice claims through various stages of intake and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Screen prospective-client inquiries
  • Conduct detailed new-client intakes
  • Review and analyze medical records
  • Identify significant medical and factual issues
  • Evaluate potential medical malpractice claims
  • Research complex medical topics
  • Communicate with prospective clients
  • Collaborate with attorneys and medical experts throughout the evaluation process

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of legal or clinical experience
  • Prior experience reviewing and analyzing medical records
  • The ability to synthesize complex medical information efficiently
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills and sound professional judgment
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively

Skills

The successful candidate must be technologically adept, able to learn new programs quickly, and comfortable working extensively with large volumes of electronic records and documents.

Preferred Experience

Experience in medical malpractice, legal case evaluation, utilization review, clinical documentation review, or a related field is preferred.

Schedule

This is a full-time, in-person position for the first year.
