CASE RECORDS TECHNICIAN
About the role
This position serves as a Case Records Technician at the California Institution for Women in Corona, San Bernardino. Communication for this role will primarily be through email.
Responsibilities
- Access and maintain integrity, accuracy, and uniformity of Central Files (C-Files) through ERMS and SOMS database systems.
- Follow C-File security and confidentiality procedures and policies.
- Accurately enter and review offender or parolee files.
- Recognize, sort, and scan documents according to Departmental policy and timeframes.
- Identify and prepare documents including departmental forms, reports, legal documents, and other state, federal, or local agency documents.
- Maintain Board of Parole Hearings actions and reports in the database for Incarcerated Person or parolee files.
Requirements
You must take the exam for Office Technician (typing) class code 00101139 to establish eligibility.

Pay
$3,411.00 - $4,945.00 per Month
Schedule
Correctional Institution operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Positions are office-based.
