Case Picker/Standup Forklift Operator

About the role

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, and stores products and/or materials using lift equipment. This includes scanning products and printing labels, completing paperwork, and performing cycle counts. The role also involves ensuring product rotation procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and reporting incidents to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
• Load, unload, and store products and materials
• Scan products and print labels
• Complete paperwork and inventory management systems
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed
• Perform daily safety inspections
• Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor
• May perform housekeeping duties
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Pass background and drug screen
• Basic computer skills
