Case Picker II (Production Deptartment) 12p-8:30p M-F

Responsibilities

• Receives and logs out batches of pick tickets corresponding to customer orders.
• Utilizes motorized equipment to pick customer orders in case quantities from various pallet locations and heights, labeling products with pick tickets and shipping (UPS) tracking labels.
• Frequently uses motorized equipment to pick large order quantities, such as entire skids, from pick racks several levels high.
• Verifies product information on location labels and pick tickets to maintain high accuracy.
• Transports products to the conveyor or loading operation as appropriate.
• Maintains daily individual production records by documenting the time tasks are performed for supervisor review.
• Disposes of empty boxes and packaging to maintain safe and clean working conditions.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
• Meets company standards for quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
• Performs all work-related tasks in compliance with Company policies and procedures, including Worldwide Business Standards.
• Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding workplace behavior.

Requirements

• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment.
• Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Strong communication (written/verbal) skills.
• Detail-oriented with accountability for accurate decisions under set guidelines.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments.
• Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).
• Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.

Physical Demands

• Lift, carry, or move products up to 50 lb frequently and 51-75 lb occasionally.
• Walk on concrete floors frequently.
• Frequent gripping, pushing, pulling, and fine hand manipulation.
• Frequent twisting or bending of the torso.
• Occasional ladder climbing.
• Frequent handling of tools (tape gun, utility knife, pallet jack).
• Work in a continuous temperature-controlled building.
• Occasional exposure to dust and cold environments.
