Production Operator II (3:00 PM-1:30 AM) Mon-Thu

Summary Of Duties

• Performs any of a variety of medical assembly and processing tasks as a production team member.
• Rotates through the assembly line to perform various tasks.
• Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
• Aids Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.
• Ensures product assembled meets quality standards and rejects product outside of specifications.
• Adheres to safety standards.
• Maintains product quality by operating a variety of testing equipment required for periodic product and process testing.
• May operate in shifts, including overtime.

Summary Of Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish or meet local language requirement.
• Must demonstrate competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
• Must have the ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Must be able to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
• Must be able to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be attentive in performing tasks.
• Must be able to work as a member of a team in assembling sterile medical products.
• Must be able to meet line rate expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three months of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Three to six months of longevity in the same company.
• If the position is on a Spanish-language line, it is preferred that the individual be Spanish speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish).
