CASE MANAGER

Columbus Youth Academy - Secure is a residential commitment program serving high-risk male youth aged 12-21. The program provides services utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.

Responsibilities

• Administer, develop, and facilitate the completion of case plans and treatment programs in accordance with the requests of the placing agency and the needs of each student on your caseload
• Collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan by providing individual counseling and skill development
• Communicate with families, probation officers, referral agencies, etc., on the progress of each youth on your caseload
• Provide an atmosphere supportive of the youth’s needs
• Monitor and document clinical behaviors and activities
• Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related field
• Prior case management experience, including three years' experience with juveniles
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Ability to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
