Case Manager

About the role

Libra Solutions is looking for a skilled Case Manager with legal and/or medical experience. A Case Manager evaluates prospective cases and makes funding-related decisions based on their merits. This role also explains the Libra process and mission, and builds relationships across the legal and medical communities. This position is based in our Las Vegas, NV office.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of 100–150 cases
• Grow relationships with attorney firms and medical providers
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and medical providers to ensure best care and service
• Manage medical treatment for accident victims, including scheduling and coordinating appointments, analyzing medical records, and arranging transportation
• Assess and make funding decisions up to $10,000
• Maintain workflow through prioritization of daily and weekly tasks
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet service levels and revenue goals
• Occasionally assist with training new team members

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of personal injury industry or legal experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Exemplary customer service and time management
• Organized with strong prioritization skills
• Thrives in a team environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the life cycle of a case
• Ability to assess overall case metrics, build and maintain relationships with law firms, and make timely decisions independently and with supervisor support
• Must be able to work in-office in Las Vegas, NV
