Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume pre-litigation caseload involving catastrophic injury claims and commercial vehicle accidents
  • Coordinate and monitor medical treatment plans, including surgical and specialty care recommendations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent guidance and case updates throughout the process
  • Review and analyze medical records, operative reports, diagnostic imaging, and treatment recommendations
  • Work directly with medical providers to facilitate treatment continuity and secure necessary documentation
  • Maintain accurate, timely case documentation in Litify and other case management systems
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal departments to maximize case progression and client outcomes
  • Identify treatment gaps, liability concerns, and case development opportunities
  • Mentor and support junior case management staff as needed

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of personal injury case management experience
  • Significant experience handling high-volume caseloads involving catastrophic injury claims and commercial vehicle accidents
  • Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish
  • Extensive knowledge of surgical treatment workflows, including orthopedic, neurological, spinal, and pain management care
  • Strong understanding of personal injury medical management and treatment coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management databases

Preferred

  • Previous experience as a team lead, trainer, supervisor, or mentor within a personal injury practice
  • Prominent ability to manage complex cases while maintaining a high level of client service
  • Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to case management
