Case Manager

About the role

This is a full-time remote role. The Case Manager monitors the service delivery process to ensure timely radiologist studies, manages and administers workflows for radiologists’ worklists (queues), and expedites cases through various systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the service delivery process to ensure studies are reported timely by the Radiologist.
• Assist Radiologist with outreach to ordering physicians.
• Expedite cases through various systems.
• Follow up on all unread cases and completion of stat cases.
• Escalate cases to management and Chief Radiologist that have been pending for more than 24 hours.
• Monitor Radiologist workload and redirect as needed to ensure timely reporting.
• Outreach to facilities to obtain prior imaging records and reports for timely cross-referencing of exams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Highly motivated, productive, accurate, and analytical.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
