Case Management Supervisor – Morrissey

About the role

Pine Street Inn Permanent Housing provides comprehensive residential, case management, and clinical support services to Permanent Housing tenants. The Case Management Supervisor provides leadership and clinical supervision to a case management team, which supports formerly chronically homeless individuals to maintain stability in housing, connect with community-based services, and achieve self-sufficiency.

This position is responsible for program content including the implementation of effective practices (Motivational Interviewing, Comprehensive Case Management, and Trauma Informed Care) and ensures the provision of high-quality case management support on a 24/7 basis. The Supervisor provides supportive services to tenants in housing helping tenants achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency, through tenant engagement and intervention during daytime operations, and in coordination with the Residential and Property Management team. The Supervisor also provides leadership in crisis situations and participates in supervisory On-Call rotation. The Case Management Supervisor will work in partnership with TCB Property Management and Community Engagement staff and is responsible for daytime operations of the PSI case management team.

Schedule

40 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., on call 24/7 rotation required

Pay

$61,464.00 - $67,610.40 annually, based on relevant experience and skill set

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical supervision to a case management team supporting formerly chronically homeless individuals
• Implement effective practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Comprehensive Case Management, and Trauma Informed Care
• Ensure high-quality case management support on a 24/7 basis
• Provide supportive services to tenants to help them achieve self-sufficiency
• Engage in tenant intervention during daytime operations
• Coordinate with Residential and Property Management teams
• Provide leadership in crisis situations
• Participate in supervisory On-Call rotation
• Oversee daytime operations of the PSI case management team

Qualifications

Education/Training

• Required: High School Diploma
• Required: 5 years of clinical supervisory experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience in the substance abuse/mental health field
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., social work, clinical psychology, education, nursing)
• Preferred: Bi-lingual – Spanish/English

Knowledge/Experience

• Required: Experience working with individuals experiencing substance abuse, mental illness, trauma, homelessness, and/or other complex disorders
• Required: Experience and working knowledge of best practices for community-based case management, including Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, and Harm Reduction
• Required: Computer skills sufficient for data gathering, documentation, and reporting
• Preferred: Experience in providing supportive housing
• Preferred: Knowledge of housing management
• Preferred: Experience working with chronically homeless individuals in Housing with Support programs
• Preferred: Strong commitment to the Housing with Support and Harm Reduction approach
• Preferred: Experience with HMIS systems
