Case Assistant- Remote Louisiana
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Management of electronic information, document management, and document review.
- Manage case documentation and file organization by collecting, scanning, and uploading key documents (e.g., police reports, insurance policies, medical records) into the case management system while maintaining accurate notes and timelines.
- Track medical treatment and billing by monitoring client care, requesting records and bills from providers, and preparing treatment summaries for case evaluations and negotiations.
- Cooky with third parties such as insurance adjusters, medical providers, and lien holders to gather documentation, verify coverage, and assist with organizing settlement and disbursement materials.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Successful candidates will be skilled communicators and able to empathize with clients while gathering necessary information.
- Prior legal experience.
- Experience in case management software programs, preferably FileVine.
- Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
