CASE AIDE - VISITATION

About the role

The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is a social and human services agency dedicated to protecting and supporting the safety, well-being, and future of vulnerable children and families. We are currently hiring Case Aide - Visitation positions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise visitation meetings among parents and children
• Enter case notes into the computer-based Case Management System
• Drive on state business to transport children to appointments and meetings
• Perform other duties appropriate to the assignment
• Build and maintain trusting, professional relationships
• Communicate with compassion, professionalism, and discretion in sensitive situations
• Use attention to detail when completing clerical tasks
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, digital calendars, video conferencing, and mobile technology to document and coordinate work

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record
• The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic principles of human and social services
• Child welfare and family support concepts
• Basic safety practices related to client transportation and child safety seating

Pay

$17.34 hourly

Schedule

Regular business hours, with potential for weekend and holiday work as needed.
