Carwash Chemical Technician - Virginia

About the role

The Chemical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and resolving immediate issues, and proactively addressing potential issues to enhance the customer experience. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of 50-75 sites per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, expert solutions to all customers to enable their business to be profitable and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Titrate and volumetrically measure products as needed.
• Perform minor chemical equipment and application repairs.
• Manage chemical inventory and order replenishments.
• Maintain Wash Key Reporting and conduct NCS Site Surveys.
• Support and execute on corporate accounts according to protocols.
• Train on-site personnel on technical and chemistry basics.
• Analyze customer outputs and recommend technical updates or efficiency improvements.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for customer expansion.

Requirements

• A degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Car wash experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to support overnight travel up to 40% based on territory and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Car Wash experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
