About the role
As a Cart Runner at Festival Foods, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by assisting guests with parcel pick-up and ensuring carts are readily available in all weather conditions. Responsibilities
- Providing Outstanding Service: Ensure each guest receives exceptional service in a friendly environment. Handle interactions with professionalism and care, including greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere: Be friendly, courteous, and cooperative while effectively communicating with associates and guests.
- Upholding Standards: Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
- Cart Collection: Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions.
- Parcel Pickup: Perform prompt parcel pick-up service to enhance customer convenience.
- Share and Solve: Share customer requests with management to enhance the shopping experience and resolve issues proactively as they arise.
- Support the Team: Other duties as assigned, including supporting superior customer service initiatives.
- Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and lift or push up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed in all weather conditions.
