About the role
As a Cart Runner at Festival Foods, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by assisting guests with parcel pick-up and ensuring carts are readily available in all weather conditions. Your dedication to maintaining a welcoming and safe environment sets the stage for an outstanding shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to guests through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by being courteous and cooperative while communicating effectively with associates and customers.
- Uphold Guest Services expectations and standards.
- Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions.
- Perform prompt parcel pick-up service to enhance customer convenience.
- Share customer requests with management and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
- Support the team with other duties as assigned, including superior customer service initiatives.
- Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.

- Proficiency in operating all necessary equipment to perform the job efficiently.
- Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity.

- Ability to stand for long periods, walk throughout the store, bend, stoop, and lift or push up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, as well as eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in all weather conditions.
