Cart Associate - RNO Reno/Tahoe Airport - Part-Time

About the role

This position at Smarte Carte offers a flexible schedule and competitive pay. The role is part-time, two to three days a week, with 3 hours per day, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manually move carts throughout departures, baggage claim, garage, and other locations to our cart collection areas.
• Learn and practice safe work habits to ensure safety to self, co-workers, company equipment, airport property, passengers and visitors.
• Provide general customer service to assist passengers navigating throughout the airport.
• Perform the job with strong innate work habits and in an honest, reliable, and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with peers, maintenance, and management to improve business operations.
• Adapt to operational changes as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months successful work experience (unless currently a student).
• Open scheduling availability required, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service and mathematical comprehension, highly desired.
• Confidence and competence in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable speaking to the general public.
• Ability to pass state, federal (FAA), Homeland Security clearance requirements and reference checks.
