Responsibilities

• Manually move carts throughout departures, baggage claim, garage, and rental car center to designated collection areas
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for self, co-workers, company equipment, airport property, passengers, and visitors
• Provide general customer service to assist passengers navigating the airport
• Demonstrate strong work habits and perform duties in an honest, reliable, and professional manner
• Communicate effectively with peers, maintenance, and management to improve business operations
• Adapt to operational changes
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Six months of successful work experience (unless currently a student)
• Strong customer service and mathematical comprehension
• Confidence and competence in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable speaking to the general public
• Ability to pass state, federal (FAA), and Homeland Security clearance requirements, including reference checks
• Open scheduling availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to obtain an airport badge
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Push/pull a minimum of 75–100 lbs
• Walk and stand for the duration of the shift
• Able to withstand undesirable weather conditions (wind, rain, extreme temperatures up to 115 degrees)

Pay

$16.48 per hour
