Carrier Sales Representative - August 2026 - Phoenix, AZ

Job Summary

Learn more about the role via the video here! This is a high-volume sales role. You will be on the phone. A lot. Building relationships with freight carriers, negotiating rates, solving problems when a load goes sideways.

About the role

This is an in-office role at our Phoenix location. That is intentional. The energy on the floor, the coaching, the competition, the culture. It does not work the same way on a screen.

Responsibilities

• Calling carriers to source capacity for customer freight across North America.
• Negotiating rates on the spot, sometimes with minutes to spare.
• Monitoring active shipments and stepping in fast when something goes wrong.
• Building relationships with carriers so you are the person they call back first.
• Hitting daily activity targets.

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced, phone-heavy sales or customer facing role.
• Comfort with rejection.
• A history of meeting or exceeding goals, whatever field they came from.

Qualifications

• A logistics or freight background helps, but it is not required.
• A degree in business or supply chain is a plus, not a requirement.

You do not get rattled when a carrier falls through at 4pm. You are competitive. You want to know where you rank on the board. You can build trust with a stranger in the first 30 seconds of a call. Pay

Base salary ($50k) plus uncapped commission. Your income is directly tied to your effort and your results. Reps who put in the work and build their book of carriers earn significantly more than their base within the first year. Top performers can earn six figures within 24 months.
