But if that gets your blood pumping instead of giving you a headache, you might be exactly who we’re looking for. At AFC, Carrier Sales Reps are the engine that makes freight move. You’ll negotiate rates, build a killer carrier network, and make sure loads get covered, picked up, and delivered without a hitch. Every. Single. Day.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a network of reliable carrier partners who actually answer the phone.
• Negotiate rates that protect margins and win freight.
• Track loads from pickup to delivery, handling exceptions like a pro.
• Work side‑by‑side with Account Managers to keep customers happy and freight moving.
• Use our TMS to keep everything tracked, documented, and squeaky clean.
• Solve problems before they become fires, and put out the ones that slip through.

Requirements

• 0‑3 years in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics.
• Negotiation skills that would make a used car dealer jealous.
• You thrive in chaos and actually enjoy the pace.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and you don’t let things slip.
• Comfortable with TMS platforms and standard logistics tech.
