Carpentry Installer

Installer at Closets by Design, a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry, and more.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Carpentry/Installer to install products safely, with high quality, and in a productive, profitable manner. Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction through clear, friendly, and professional communication. Operate company vehicles and tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Help install custom closets and cabinets at customer homes.
• Follow basic drawings or instructions to assist with setup.
• Use hand and power tools safely (training provided).
• Measure, cut, and fit materials with guidance from lead carpenter.
• Assist with mounting shelves and leveling parts.
• Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation.

Requirements

• Customer-oriented, friendly, and enthusiastic.
• Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a current driver’s license.
• Good driving record and ability to operate company vehicle safely.
• Closet, garage, or office installation experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong personal organization skills.

Qualifications

• Direct career track to Lead with a pay increase.
• Paid training and ongoing professional development.

Pay

Listed pay of $52,000–$70,000 includes base pay plus bonuses.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, optional weekends, no required overtime. Paid holidays and paid time off.
