Responsibilities

• Assist with construction projects while guiding and teaching volunteers.
• Work alongside experienced professionals to develop carpentry skills.
• Contribute to building homes and empowering families in the community.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and teach, guiding volunteers and gaining knowledge from experienced leaders.
• Embody Habitat Bucks' core values and foster a welcoming and inclusive community.
• Understanding of basic carpentry tools.
• Vehicle and valid driver's license required.

Schedule

Workdays are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the physical ability to:

• Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more, with or without corrective lenses, and color determination vision.
• Climb ladders or scaffolding up to 6 feet high.
• Grasp, reach, stoop, speak, listen, and distinguish differences in odors.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 75 lbs.

The normal workplace will be in the ReStore office and retail space, which are smoke-free. Must be able to work in non-temperature-controlled conditions, possibly outdoors, in warehouses, or at donor facilities.
