Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate 1-4 crew members in daily duties
- Perform rough and finish carpentry with crew on Commercial and Agricultural projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans
- Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, schedules, and budgets
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations
- Work with sub-contractors to coordinate schedules and work areas
- Train and mentor carpentry crew members
- Cookordinate with other trades and project managers to ensure smooth workflow
- Manage inventory of materials and equipment
- Track and report work progress to project managers
- Efficiently work in a fast paced environment with detailed workmanship
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
Requirements
- Proven experience in the construction industry
- Minimum 5 years construction experience {{:}} preferred
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (0-50 lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80 lbs ground to carry height)
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel, stoop, and bend for long periods of time while performing physical labor
- Ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
