Carpentry Foreman

Pay

$35 to $42 per hour (based on experience) with a reliable bi‑weekly pay cycle.

Location

St. Germain, WI – onsite work with travel within a 30‑mile vicinity.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily field operations for custom residential construction projects to keep work on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise, mentor, and hold job‑site crews accountable to high safety, quality, and craftsmanship standards.
• Review drawings and specifications thoroughly to verify constructability and prevent project roadblocks.
• Prepare, track, and maintain accurate project documentation, including cost forecasts and change orders.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and inspectors to resolve field issues quickly.
• Monitor resource allocation on‑site to maintain operational efficiency across all assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on project management and leadership experience in construction.
• Proven expertise in residential carpentry, custom framing, interior finishes, and building methods.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills with experience managing site safety and budgets.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb regularly.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Formal training or active certifications in OSHA safety guidelines, fall protection, or lift operations.
