Carpenter - Property Management

About the role

As NFM’s Carpenter, you would be responsible for performing rough and finish carpentry duties throughout NFM, directly impacting our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and install counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, walls, doors, building framework, and trim
• Paint office and retail areas
• Perform rough and finish carpentry on any area of NFM, including sales areas
• Replace damaged ceiling tile, flooring, and wall coverings and install glass in windows, doors, and partitions
• Modify, adjust, and build walls for furniture displays
• Handle products safely to prevent damage

Requirements

• Completion of carpentry apprenticeship training program
• 5 years of finish carpentry experience
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of and ability to use all power tools
• Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Basic computer skills plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
