Carpenter (ND)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Carpenters for a project located in Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute work accurately and independently
• Construct, install, and repair structures and components using hand and power tools
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
• Complete work with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and project schedules
• Assist with material handling, deliveries, and site logistics to keep work progressing efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
• Support and mentor less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and reinforcing safe, high-quality work practices
• Take initiative and perform other duties as required to support overall project success

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have 5+ years of experience preferred
• Must have reliable transportation and a good attendance record
• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head
• Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling--and with good eyesight
• Should be able to navigate through the work-site on a daily basis
• Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
