Carpenter (ND)
About the role
We are seeking experienced Carpenters for a project located in Fargo, ND.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute work accurately and independently
- Construct, install, and repair structures and components using hand and power tools
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Complete work with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and project schedules
- Assist with material handling, deliveries, and site logistics to keep work progressing efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
- Support and mentor less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and reinforcing safe, high-quality work practices
- Take initiative and perform other duties as required to support overall project success
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have 5+ years of experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation and a good attendance record
- Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head
- Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling--and with good eyesight
- Should be able to navigate through the work-site on a daily basis
- Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
