Carpenter/Maintenance Technician - Holliston

About the role

We are seeking an experienced handyman/maintenance technician to join our team in Holliston. The position involves a variety of maintenance tasks including general maintenance, carpentry, drywall repair, masonry work, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, window and door repairs, painting, cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, supply delivery, and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks
• Carry out carpentry and drywall repairs
• Handle minor electrical and plumbing repairs
• Assist with window, door, and lock repairs
• Paint buildings and facilities
• Clean property areas
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and driveways
• Manage landscaping tasks
• Pick up and deliver supplies
• Respond to emergencies during "on-call" rotations

Requirements

• Property maintenance experience: 3+ years (preferred)
• Proficiency in general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents, management, and contractors
• Ability to diagnose issues and find efficient solutions
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring physical exertion

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Own set of basic tools for today's work
• Smartphone
• Availability to work 40+ hours per week, including nights and weekends as needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous employment references
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
