What You'll Do
- Read and understand drawings and specifications, and contribute to creating as-built drawings
- Lead a team of carpenters to complete high end tenant improvement projects
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and ability to lead and manage job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on hazard identification
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, interact effectively with all levels of management, show initiative, and work independently or collaboratively as needed
- Lead construction projects and communicate schedule estimates, progress, and impacts
- Create as-built drawings for completed work
- Able to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Carpenter Foreman (applicants with less than 5 years will be assessed for experience level and considered)
- Strong demonstrable Client-facing experience, proven ability to collaborate with design teams
- High-End TI (tenant improvement) background, experience in high-end retail is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate and coordinate with design teams
- Proven ability to lead construction teams to successful outcomes
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions and to create as-built drawings for completed work
- Flexibility to complete job scopes outside of typical core competencies as required and willingness to travel to various project locations as required
- Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts and experience with hand power tools
