About the role

Journey Construction, a division of Journey Group, is seeking a Carpenter Foreman to lead their carpentry crew in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety, respect, and ethical practices in all work activities.
• Manage a carpentry crew, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.
• Operate various construction equipment such as ariel platforms, telehandlers, and skid loaders.
• May require a Class A CDL and medical certification.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial carpentry building construction experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• The ability to provide evidence of insurability.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (premium pay for this skill).
• Knowledge of and experience with construction safety protocols.
• Experience with construction equipment such as ariel platforms, telehandlers, and skid loaders.
