Carpenter - Facilities, Planning, and Management

Responsibilities

• Performs preparations and painting of interior and exteriors of buildings
• Performs repair and installation of doors
• Performs installation and repair of countertops, desk hardware, fire ext. hooks, thresholds, ceiling/floor tile etc.
• Performs installation and fabrication of steel posts, frames, etc.
• Keeps all gutters, drainpipes, and roofs clean, and patches holes in roofs as necessary

Requirements

• Minimum: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and one year experience in carpentry work, including sheetrock work and painting of all types ; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Preferred: Two years of experience in the installation of drop-ceilings, floor tiles, replacing window glass, hanging sheetrock, and building walls using wood and metal studs is preferred.

Qualifications
