About the role
Lead Carpenter responsible for supervising self-perform trade teams on construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Reading blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project layout and materials.
- Constructing and installing structures such as walls, floors, doors, windows, and fixtures.
- Supervising crews, managing work schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Tracking time, materials, and documenting project progress.
- Training and mentoring team members, leading daily safety meetings, and managing equipment and materials.
- Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organized job site.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in rough and finish carpentry.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding construction methods.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to learn new skills, operate heavy machinery, and obtain relevant certifications.
- Reliable transportation and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Qualifications & Skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (provided).
- First Aid and CPR certifications (provided).
- Optional certifications in equipment operation, welding, and power tools.
