Carpenter Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Aid in framing, exterior trim and siding, window and door installation, decking, interior trim, cabinetry, and finishes
• Stage materials, organize tools, and help verify quantities to keep projects moving efficiently
• Read basic plans and measurements; follow verbal and written instructions from Lead Carpenters and Project Managers
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites; practice daily safety habits
• Use hand and power tools under supervision and care for company tools and equipment
• Document work progress with photos or notes and communicate issues early
• Uphold NEPA Builders' workmanship standards and professional client interactions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and measuring skills
• 0-2 years of construction or carpentry experience preferred (trade school or shop classes a plus)
• Familiarity with hand and power tools preferred
• Team-oriented, dependable, coachable, and eager to learn
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across NEPA

Compensation & Benefits (Up Front):
Hourly pay range: $15.00-$20.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
