About the role

We are delighted to introduce our incoming PC4 Director, Associate Professor Carolyn Ee. 'I look forward to having the opportunity to provide leadership for our outstanding clinical trials group and playing a larger role in supporting the development of cancer clinical trials and primary care. Primary care plays such a crucial role in cancer care across the continuum. I am passionate about raising awareness about our role, building our membership, increasing participation of priority population groups in our clinical trials, and strengthening and expanding collaborations'

  • Associate Professor (Cancer Survivorship and Primary Care) at the Flinders Caring Futures Institute
  • Nationally recognized emerging leader in chronic disease management in primary care
  • Expertise in qualitative research, multi-centre clinical trials, evidence synthesis, and clinical practice guideline development and translation

Already a member of the PC4 Scientific Committee and Co-Lead of our Living With and Beyond Cancer Engine Room since 2021, we now welcome her appointment as PC4 Director. Carolyn will be transitioning into the role until July 2025 when she will be fully instated with Prof Jon Emery’s departure.
