Carolina Custom Air - HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Carolina Custom Air, now part of Ace Hardware Home Services, is hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians. We're backed by a trusted national brand but operate with a local, technician-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service residential HVAC systems
• Work on forced-air, boilers (steam & hot water), oil, ductless, and high-velocity systems
• Use diagnostic tools to resolve airflow, electrical, fuel, and refrigerant issues
• Maintain truck stock to complete flat-rate repairs
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and recommend comfort or efficiency upgrades
• Support junior technicians as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience (preferred)
• EPA Universal Certification (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and HVAC knowledge
• A valid driver's license with at least 3 years of US driving experience is required for this role

Pay

$28.00 - $40.00 per hour
Up to $5,000 sign on bonus
