Carolina Custom Air - HVAC Service Technician
About the role
Carolina Custom Air, part of Ace Hardware Home Services, is hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service residential HVAC systems
- Work on forced-air, boilers (steam & hot water), oil, ductless, and high-velocity systems
- Use diagnostic tools to resolve airflow, electrical, fuel, and refrigerant issues
- Maintain truck stock to complete flat-rate repairs
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and recommend comfort or efficiency upgrades
- Support junior technicians as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience (preferred)
- EPA Universal Certification (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and HVAC knowledge
- A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of US driving experience is required for this role
