About the role
The Assembly Technician in the Wood Shop supports our customers by contributing to the high quality construction process of Interstate trailers. The primary responsibility is to cut and install plywood in trailers for the floor and walls.
Responsibilities
- Work with drywall screw gun, table saw, jig saw, miter saw, and general hand tools
- Contribute to the high quality construction process of Interstate trailers
- Cut and install plywood in trailers for the floor and walls
- Meet high quality and control standards
- Learn and become proficient in other production roles in order to support the entire team
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Ability to be on your feet for a long period of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
