Carepool Overview

Carepool is a rideshare platform for government programs and responds to the ongoing COVID crisis. The role involves supporting healthcare workers by providing transportation services, particularly to hospitals and dialysis centers where transportation can be a significant barrier.

Responsibilities

• Drive patients to and from dialysis appointments in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
• Assist with wheelchair transfers into the vehicle.
• Follow CDC guidelines and wear masks.
• Provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Separate airflow within the vehicle to ensure safety.

Requirements

• Own a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
• Comfortable assisting with wheelchair transfers.
• Willingness to work 3 days per week.
• Experience driving in similar conditions.

• Must feel comfortable assisting with wheelchair transfers.
• Willingness to follow CDC guidelines and wear masks.
