Caregivers – Early Evening Weekend Shifts Open

About the role

Senior Helpers of Western Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking reliable, compassionate, and dependable caregivers for immediate open early evening weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in Olmsted Falls. You will make a meaningful difference in seniors’ lives by providing companionship and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Provide medication reminders and observe and report changes in condition
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life
• Communicate effectively with clients, family, and Senior Helpers office staff
• Accurately document care and promptly report changes or concerns

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliability, punctuality, and communication are essential
• No prior experience required; CNA/STNA, LPN, RN, nursing students, or relevant healthcare experience welcome
• Reliable transportation, Ohio required car insurance and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass required background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
• Compassion for seniors and a genuine desire to serve others

Pay

• Standard rate: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
• Premiums for holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Pay based on experience, qualifications, skills, and client needs
